JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai, UAE. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for operational decision-making.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and improve processes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including IFRS and local tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for advanced financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
