Job description / Role
Guildhall is recruiting for a leading construction company seeking a Technical Manager to oversee technical aspects related to product development, certification, and environmental initiatives.
The Technical Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s offerings meet industry standards and customer expectations for quality and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants to advance the company's sustainability objectives.
• Support the marketing team with technical insights for collateral development.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary certifications and technical details for submissions.
• Monitor and analyze technical performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of technical efforts with overall business objectives.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on technical activities, results, and insights.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technical team.
• Mentor and develop members of the technical team, providing guidance, support, and professional growth opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in technical management and environmental sustainability.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and strategy.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field; Master’s degree or certification in a specialized area preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical management roles, with a track record of success in product development, certification, and environmental initiatives.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and certification processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and excellence, able to ensure deliverables meet high standards and expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
