JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Implement data integration solutions using ETL processes and tools.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across various platforms.
- Optimize database performance and manage large-scale data warehousing solutions.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage data infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and provide effective solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers and team members.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL and Database Management: Expert in crafting complex queries and optimizing database performance.

- ETL and Data Integration: Deep experience with ETL tools and methodologies for data integration and transformation.
- Big Data Technologies: Advanced knowledge of big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud data services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Data Warehousing Solutions: Experience with major data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Data Modeling: Strong skills in designing and implementing complex data models for scalable solutions.
- Data Governance and Compliance: In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze and improve data pipeline and database performance.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
