JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The role for a Senior Architectural Design Manager requires the individual to manage the technical design of a diverse range of assets, including residential, hospitality, commercial, cultural from concept. The individual will additionally be responsible to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

The client is a major real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, recognised for spearheading extensive and diverse projects that contribute to the Kingdom's urban development and economic growth.

Description

* Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
* Oversee the entire architectural design process, from initial concept development to final construction documentation and implementation.
* Develop and implement design strategies that align with project goals, vision, and budgetary constraints.
* Ensure design excellence, innovation, and adherence to best practices in architectural design.
* Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and materials selections.
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure design intent and quality are maintained throughout construction phases.
* Manage project timelines and resources effectively, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and technological advancements in architectural design.
* Uphold and promote standards of sustainability, accessibility, and inclusively in architectural design practices.

Requirements:

* Design Expertise: A strong background in architectural and technical design (+12 years of experience)
* Project Management Skills: Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to plan, budget, and execute projects efficiently.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate would effectively convey design ideas to clients and collaborate with diverse teams of professionals, including structural, MEP, electrical, mechanical and civil.
