Senior Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join an international architecture and engineering consultancy firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on large scale and complex projects across KSA, predominantly from schematic design to tender. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from schematic design through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements, develop design concepts, and present proposals for approval.
- Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and integrate innovative design solutions and sustainable principles into architectural projects.
- Involved in preparing project proposals, attending client meetings, and contributing to the growth and success of the firm.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.
- Professional licensure as an architect is required, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex architectural projects of varying scales and typologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing junior design professionals.
- A creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and sustainability in architectural design.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Salary:
SAR 25,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
