Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping and Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.

Cost Control:

- Analyze project costs and expenses to ensure they align with budgeted amounts.

Tax & ZAKAT Preparation:

- Assist in tax preparation and filing.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes.

Payroll Processing:

- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate salary disbursements.

Internal Controls:

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets.

Audit Support:

- Assist in internal and external audit processes.

Financial Analysis:

Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting practices.
