JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety Management Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in safety management, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety within the organization and ensuring adherence to local and international safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety management systems and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to determine the causes of accidents and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for all employees to promote a culture of safety and ensure understanding of safety practices.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry standards, and implement necessary updates to safety policies.
- Prepare and present safety reports to management, highlighting key safety performance indicators and recommendations for improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns, fostering open communication between employees and management.
- Manage and mentor safety personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in safety management or related major education background?have international safety management qualification certificate and good basic knowledge of project safety management
- At least 10 years working experience in safety management of port, dredging, house-building, road and bridge, municipal and other projects
- Proficient in safety management laws, regulations and standards of Middle East
- The ability to establish?improve the safety management system of the whole company and new projects?and have the ability to prepare?review technical documents related to safety
- Good English understanding and communication skills
- Proficient in Office software and other work software
- Experience in Quality and ESG management of construction industry would be preferred

Salary:
SAR 10,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
