JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- To provide technical support to the Refinery's maintenance and operational teams and ensure that all routine, preventive and turnaround maintenance activities.
- Define, manage and review equipment maintenance strategies, develop maintenance procedures to support these strategies and provide technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all equipment, as required.
- Participate in the of Root Cause Analysis as part of the process for addressing Bad Actor lists, facilitate critical studies; provide coaching and mentoring to other engineers capable of facilitating RCA studies.
- Provide support in developing new software.
- Ensure developing and maintaining an effective action tracking system for Root Cause Analysis findings and recommendations and reporting in case of discrepancies.
- Define spare part requirements for all Refinery equipment, employing Risk Based Maintenance and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis techniques (FMECA).

Requirements:

- Perform regular audits to ensure working capital is optimised, stock levels are maintained and spares for obsolete equipment are removed in coordination with concerned personnel.
- Participate in Total FORCE audits, Solomon Surveys and other benchmarking exercises to ensure the SATORP reliability programs is focused on the important issues to improve overall Refinery availability performance.
- Develop and follow up on Incident tracking system .
- Make sure for compliances of all HSE rules Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
