Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Project Manager is a senior member of the water team. He is responsible for the management of water distribution projects of moderate complexity, including team management, technical management, schedule and cost control, quality management, risk management and client management throughout the project lifecycle. He is accountable for the delivery and managing the project in accordance with project budgets and schedules, while satisfying all technical and quality projects requirements. While doing so, the jobholder is the main client counterpart and ensures client requirements are handled in a professional manner, while maintaining a positive and reputable company image in all interactions.

Requirements:

Skills
• Knowledge of water Carbon Steel pipes and Pump Stations projects construction and installations
• Solid knowledge in all aspects of water project management
• Strong budget management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Good understanding of quality control and risk management
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management, clients and various departments
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• With 25 years of experience
• Master's degree is preferable (with 20 years’ experience)
• English proficiency is a Must
• Experience and track record in managing water installation projects Petroleum projects
• Significant experience within the Middle East is preferable
