JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects in the Saudi Arabia-Riyadh region. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive project success from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the execution of oil and gas projects in the Saudi Arabia, Riyadh region, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure timely completion within set parameters
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project success and mitigate risks
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track and within scope
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency enhancements, and process optimization within project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus- Proven experience in leading and managing oil and gas projects, preferably in the Saudi Arabia-Riyadh region, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills to address complex project challenges and drive successful outcomes
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a proactive and result-oriented mindset to meet project objectives and exceed expectations
