Process Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at our facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. As a Process Engineer - MTBE, you will be responsible for overseeing the optimization and improvement of the MTBE production process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Optimize and improve the MTBE production process to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
- Conduct regular process evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Troubleshoot any operational issues and develop solutions to ensure smooth and continuous production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor key process indicators and develop strategies to enhance the overall performance of the MTBE production process.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance production capabilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure the safety and reliability of the production process.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- 10 Plus years of proven experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry, with specific experience in MTBE production being highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, and improvement techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to petrochemical production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive process improvement initiatives from conception to implementation.
