Night Duty Manager, Facility Management

Job Purpose

The Night Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing all factories at AIC and ensuring the smooth running of the facility during the night shift and vacation period. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, handling emergencies, and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key Accountability Areas

- Oversee all operations during the night shift, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
- Escalate any major incidents and/or critical operation issues.
- Supervise night shift staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor the facility's security systems.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of night shift operations, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Report to concerned factory Managers night shifts issues.
- Ensure proper handover to the morning shift team

- Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
- Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
- Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.
- Assessment criteria of subordinates is performance that leads to planned results.
- Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

- Must take full responsibility for his operation as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.

- Ability to take necessary and proper timely decisions.

- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.
