JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Red Sea Landscape Nursery, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global is in need of Materials Engineer for our landscape projects in Umluj, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Material Manager for BOQ,Tender Documents
• Prepare Material Logs based on BOQ, Specification & Drawings
• Review Value Engineering requirements and arrange samples according
• Coordinate with Procurement Teams for Package Finalization
• Upon Package Finalization, Follow up with the suppliers for sample and submittals.
• Compliance statement for materials to be prepared.
• Collaborate with Planning Engineers to develop project plans and timelines.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze material submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare compliance statements and documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Coordinate with LEED Coordinator for LEED Compliance prior final submission.
• Ensure All Required Documents/Invoices & supporting documents during delivery for LEED compliance.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Manages and prepares the required submittals for client's approval.
• Ensure all departments are aware of the approved materials and have the track of the same.
• Hand over approved materials to the project teams in Coordination with Document Controller.
• Send Approvals to Procurement Team & Coordinate for Orders
• Assist Logistic Team & Suppliers for timely delivery

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• A minimum of 5 years experience in large construction projects with a minimum of 2 years in preparing pre-qualification & Material Submittals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced knowledge of construction and engineering processes.
• High-level mathematical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in GCC countries highly preferred
• Special preference for candidates within the Kingdom with transferable iqama and valid for at least 6 months
• Willing to work onsite - remote location.

Salary:
SAR 12,000 to 14,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
