We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Site Engineer to join our dynamic project team on a site supervision marine infrastructure project based in Al Wajh, Saudi Arabia. As a Marine Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities of a marina basin project. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is executed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Your new role, what's involved?

Project Planning and Execution:
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure that marine engineering projects adhere to design specifications, codes, and regulations.

Site Supervision:
• Oversee construction activities on-site, including dewatering, piling, sheet piling, and concrete placement.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety performance of contractors and subcontractors.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to site challenges.

Quality Assurance and Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets project specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with design and engineering requirements.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:
• Promote and enforce strict safety and environmental practices on-site.
• Participate in hazard assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure that all activities align with relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare regular progress reports for project management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address project-related matters and maintain positive relationships.

Problem Solving:
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during construction.
• Provide innovative solutions to optimize project performance.

Requirements:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Marine Site Engineer or similar role in marine construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to work in a remote location.
