Legal Counsel – Riyadh

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation based in the Middle East. They are seeking a bilingual English- and Arabic-speaking Legal Counsel to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing legal advice and recommendations on important legal matters to support decision-making processes and safeguarding the company’s interests in dealings with employees, trademarks, IPs, contractors, and recruiters
• Advising on agreements related to the company’s operations to minimise legal exposure and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
• Developing, evaluating, and revising legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and agreements to ensure legality, and safeguarding company interests
• Ensuring the integrity of legal content, managing potential risks, and intervening when needed to resolve issues
• Conducting legal research on various matters to recover company rights, minimising liability, and reaching amicable settlements
• Representing the company in ministries, government courts, and other related bodies to resolve legal cases in the company’s best interests

Requirements:

PROFILE

• Law degree, ideally with professional certificates such as LLM or similar. Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia
• 7-10 years’ experience in relevant legal fields
• Thoroughly knowledgeable of the legal systems in Saudi Arabia and some regional law, especially the UAE
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic

Salary:
