Internal Auditor

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. The Internal Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards, identifying areas for improvement, and providing valuable insights to drive business performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Identifying areas of non-compliance, inefficiency, or potential risk, and developing recommendations for improvement.
• Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations to management, and working collaboratively to implement solutions.
• Performing regular and ad-hoc audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Evaluating the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, and ensuring the safeguarding of assets.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of internal audit policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Staying informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve the internal audit function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA (Must), CISA, or CPA are highly desirable.
• Proven experience of more than 5 years in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance within the Construction, F&B, Real Estate, or Investment Banking industries.
• In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• High ethical standards and the ability to maintain objectivity and independence in performing audits.
• Proficiency in using audit tools and software, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
