JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Human Resources Assistant will support the HR team in all aspects of human resources management for a Marine Center in the scuba diving and water sports industry located at Sindalah Island the first NEOM project to be launched in early 2024. This individual will provide administrative support and assist in implementing and coordinating various HR programs and processes and liaising with local marine authorities

Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Create and maintain employee personnel files and HR databases
- Process employee paperwork, including new hire documents, termination paperwork, and benefits enrollment
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions
- Assist with employee relations issues and conduct exit interviews
- Coordinate and track employee training and development programs
- Maintain and update employee information in HRIS system
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee time and attendance records
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Assist with performance management processes, including performance evaluations and goal-setting
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events
- Provide general administrative support to HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and answering employee questions
- Liaison with Maritime authorities and related government bodies to ensure the daily needs of the operation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software programs
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Salary:
SAR 10,000 to 11,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
