JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

My client are a leading international contractor currently working on a major civil engineering construction project on the NEOM development near Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced environmental manager for the following;

* Make recommendations to maintain and improve environmental performance.
* Review environmental regulations, and determine whether they're being applied properly
* Lead or support the preparation and negotiation of various environmental permit applications
* Interface with different regulatory agencies, prepare needed documentation, schedule required testing, and provide any necessary, additional follow-up documentation
* Provide system and component design that reduce negative impact on environment
* Serve as a technical advisor on environmental policies and standards to ensure regulatory applicability
* Conduct research and technical audits on environmental impact of project, analyze data and perform quality control checks
* Develop resources management schemes
* Provide systems technical evaluation
* Integrate latest technologies into systems
* Address problems and develop environmental solutions to prevent damage
* Monitor progress and provide recommendations reports

Requirements:

* Candidates should have a degree in environmental engineering or a similar subject and should be able to demonstrate a successful career as an environmental manager working on major civil engineering and construction projects in the Middle east region.
