CAD Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on project specifications and engineering principles.
- Produce rough sketches and refine them into precise digital designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Interpret project briefs, collaborate with engineers and architects, and participate in project meetings to translate concepts into technical drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and maintain an organized repository of CAD files and documentation, ensuring easy access and reference for project teams.
- Communicate potential design issues and solutions clearly to engineers and architects, providing in conducting feasibility studies and design analyses.
- Gather information, assess constraints, and determine the feasibility of proposed designs.
- Assist in preparing project proposals and presentations by providing technical drawings and visualizations.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar role within the engineering or architectural field.
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles and practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Experience with 3D modelling and visualization tools is a plus.
- Available to join Immediately.
- Willingness to relocate, if required.
- Must have a Valid SCE Membership (Professional or Consultant).
