QA/QC Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Required for an international contractor working on a refinery upgrade in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering the full project scope.
• Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
• Establishing and monitoring quality related Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for all project execution phases
• Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.

Requirements:

• A degree / HND Mechanical Engineering
• 15 years’ experience with at least 10 years as a QC professional on oil & gas projects
• Must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organisational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities
• Able to communicate well
