JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Required to join an international contractor working on a large scale oil & gas project in Qatar. Responsibilities include
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of cranes (Mobile, Crawler,Tower) and other lifting equipment to assess their safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement inspection plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure thorough evaluations.
• Perform visual and functional inspections of crane components, including structural elements, hoisting mechanisms, and safety devices.
• Review inspection findings, identify deficiencies, and prepare detailed reports with recommended corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the project team to address inspection findings and ensure appropriate repairs or maintenance activities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to crane inspection and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and support to the inspection team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and inspection reports, documenting crane performance and maintenance history
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in crane inspection and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Good command of English (written, spoken, and reading).
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Crane Inspector (CCI) are preferred.
Salary:
QAR
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
