JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Required to join an international contractor working on the construction of a large oil and gas construction project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be a Planning Engineer with extensive forensic delay experience. Responsibilities will include the assessment and management of claims along with expertise in forensic delay analysis methodologies, Risk assessment of Contract provisions related to Schedule and challenge any claims and EOT requests, making recommendations for possible mitigation/ acceleration
Requirements:
• A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering• 10 + years experience working on oil and gas construction projects in the Middle East
• Previous experience in Planning, Forensic Delay Analysis, Claims, Project Controls and Project Management
• Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle for oil and gas projects in respect to planning, cost and schedule control
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
