JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled GOSP Operator to join our team in Libya within the Oil and Gas industry. The GOSP Operator will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP) equipment to ensure the efficient and safe processing of oil and gas production. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor GOSP equipment to ensure efficient processing of oil and gas production
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of GOSP equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize plant performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of equipment readings, production levels, and maintenance activities

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a GOSP Operator or similar role within the Oil and Gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of GOSP equipment, processes, and operational best practices
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to oil and gas production
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, including potential shift work and on-call responsibilities
- Relevant certifications or training in GOSP operations and safety standards
