JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled DCS (Maintenance) Operator to join our team in the oil and gas industry in Libya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Distributed Control System (DCS) and associated equipment to ensure smooth production processes and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the DCS and associated equipment to maintain smooth and efficient production processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the DCS and associated systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.
- Document and report any abnormalities or incidents related to the DCS and associated equipment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to DCS operations and maintenance.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a DCS (Maintenance) Operator in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of DCS operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with control room operations, process control systems, and instrumentation in an oil and gas production environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DCS and associated equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety, with a focus on adhering to regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with maintenance and production teams.
- Willingness to work in challenging and dynamic environments, with a proactive and adaptable approach to job responsibilities.
