Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Job Overview:

The Senior Accountant - Receivable will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, performing detailed analysis and reconciliations, and ensuring timely follow-up with clients and providers. This role requires a proactive approach and entails preparation of comprehensive reports and collaborative work with IT to enhance financial processes.

What you do:

- Accounts Receivable Management:
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Conduct receivable aging analysis to identify overdue accounts and implement strategies for resolution.

- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare detailed reports on receivables, volume rebates, and provider payments.
- Assist the Head of Finance in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and comprehensive financial reports.

- Reconciliations and Follow-Ups:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Follow up with clients and providers to ensure timely payments and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with IT to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the receivable processes.

- Client and Provider Meetings:
- Schedule and lead meetings with clients and providers to discuss account statuses, payment issues, and reconciliation.
- Conduct volume rebate follow-ups and analysis to ensure accuracy and timely execution.

- Provider Payment Analysis and Processing:
- Analyze and process provider payments accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

What you bring:

- Education: MBA in Finance or related field (mandatory), CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification (mandatory), DipIFR (Diploma in International Financial Reporting) is highly recommended.
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior finance position, preferably within the healthcare sector. Strong international experience and familiarity with global finance practices.
- Ability collaborate and work with internal and external colleagues to successfully complete the defined tasks and provide superior customer service.
- Physically fit to carry out duties
- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
- Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
