JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator/Pastry Artist to join our team at our esteemed e-Learning Center. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for baking and decorating, with an eye for detail and a flair for creating visually stunning and delicious confections.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design, decorate, and create a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts for special events, classes, and daily offerings.
• Collaborate with clients and staff to understand specific design requests and flavor preferences.
• Ensure all products meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with current trends and techniques in cake decoration and pastry arts.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
• Provide guidance and instruction to students and staff on baking and decorating techniques.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
Requirements:
Qualification & Requirements:• Proven experience as a Cake Decorator, Pastry Artist, or similar role.
• Strong artistic skills with the ability to create intricate and beautiful designs.
• Proficiency in various decorating techniques, including fondant, piping, and sculpting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
