What you will be doing:

- Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning, following food safety requirements
- Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

Requirements:

Your experience and skills include:

- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
- Add diplomas/certifications required if needed

Your team and working environment:

- Is willing to learn and displays a lot of eagerness and enthusiasm for the work.
- Helps in preparing hot food and soups, under the guidance of the Sous Chef
- Helps with the Kitchen sanitation, try to reach the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Must attend all scheduled training and on the job training sessions.
- Ensure the highest level of personal hygiene; uniform is worn in the correct and cleanliness manner.
- Assists in checking all equipment and utensils and reports to the Sous Chef immediately if there is any fault.
- Promotes good employee relations

Additional Information

Your team and working environment:

- Checks and taste all buffet, displays and banqueting set-ups in accordance to the Executive Chef's specification and takes action if he sees discrepancies immediately
- During peak hours i.e. lunch and dinner, Demi Chef is to be stationed at the outlet kitchen or Buffet to ensure the food is served according to the Executive Chef's specification.
