Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

One of the most famous names in private equity investment in the region has set up a new MENA focused VC fund based remotely in Jordan. Working closely with the CEO the CFO will be responsible for setting up the operations in line with the organisational and functional structure of the parent company, recruit an operations team, and play a role in the selection of the investment and post acquisition management teams.

The individual will go on to manage the day-to-day operations of the fund, maintain all external relationships and play a strong hand in the early stage development of portfolio companies across the region.

Requirements:

We are seeking a charismatic and business minded CFO who is able to develop an operation from scratch as well as manage a very large fund in line with global best practice. To apply you will have all of the following (not flexible at all):

An Accountancy qualification

Fluency in Arabic

At least 5 years experience with a private equity fund, investment bank or major asset manager.

At least two years experience at Finance Director level of a major fund, or CFO of a fund >US$ 500m under management.
