BIM Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for a BIM Manager to strengthen its staff.

The figure will be responsible for:

Manage the company BIM department with a focus on complex construction (large buildings, hospitals, etc.);
Coordinate and support internal BIM Coordinators and BIM Specialists;
Organize and lead BIM authoring activities;
Manage BIM models developed by internal resources and/or external suppliers, ensuring their alignment with contract standards and quality;
Create and publish federated models;
Call and participate in internal and external coordination meetings;
Oversee clash detection activities and the process of resolving detected interference;
Verify and validate the information consistency of model objects,
Supervise data extraction and model processing activities;
Manage the drafting and updating of sector documents (oGI, pGI, CI, BEP).

Degree in Civil, Building and/or Architecture Engineering;
Registration in the professional register;
Possession of certification according to UNI 11337-7 standard;
Proven experience in managing complex BIM projects;
Knowledge of national and international BIM standards (UNI 11337, UNI EN 19650);
Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit software;
Excellent command of Clash Detection and Code Checking software (Navisworks / Solibri);
Experience in creating and managing models in IFC format;
Excellent knowledge of the English language (level B2-C1);
Previous experience of at least 5 years in the role.

The following constitute preferential qualifications:
Good knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D software;
Proficiency in creating/using Dynamo scripts;
Experience in hospital construction and/or hydraulic design;
Having gained work experience abroad and/or on international projects.
