Site Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects in Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects while maintaining high safety standards and delivering exceptional quality. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites and implement measures to minimize risks and hazards
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of construction teams and provide guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and provide regular updates on project milestones
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction projects meet high standards and specifications
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction projects in a timely and effective manner

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide construction teams to achieve project goals
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials, as well as familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicts
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices in the construction industry, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as a high level of proficiency in project planning and scheduling

Salary:
EUR 3,150 to 3,200 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
