Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for construction and engineering projects, ensuring that our clients receive competitive and accurate project proposals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver accurate estimates within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project documents and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess project requirements and risks.
- Prepare and submit detailed and competitive project proposals to clients within specified deadlines.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
- Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to finalize project costs and terms.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management processes.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills to secure competitive project bids.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Salary:
EUR 3,150 to 3,200 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
