Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science and Biology Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Biology at IGCSE, AS, and A-Level and will be skilled in preparing students for external examinations. This role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons, assessing student performance, and contributing to the academic growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Instructional Delivery: Teach Biology to students preparing for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level British exams, ensuring that lessons are engaging, comprehensive, and aligned with the curriculum.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of the IGCSE, AS, and A-Level specifications, incorporating various teaching methods to address diverse learning needs.
- Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments of student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Exam Preparation: Prepare students for external examinations by providing targeted revision sessions, practice exams, and guidance on exam techniques.
- Student Support: Offer additional support and mentorship to students, including one-on-one tutoring and guidance on academic and career pathways.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and to share best practices for student success.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Biology and education, and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Biology at IGCSE, AS, and A-Level, with a strong track record of helping students achieve high examination results.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IGCSE, AS, and A-Level Biology curricula and examination requirements.
- Personal Attributes: Enthusiastic, dedicated, and able to motivate and inspire students. Demonstrates a commitment to student achievement and well-being.
