Mechanical / Piping Construction Supervisor

Job description / Role

Wood is currently recruiting for Iraqi local national Mechanical/Piping Construction Supervisor to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq on a 6/1 rotation cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Has a broad experience with a lot of different Piping materials and fitting.
- Can review and correctly interpret the piping drawings (P&ID,ISO,GA)
- Good experience working with site teams on fit up and welding with approved procedures.
- Has some site testing experience with piping NDT ,testing (hydrotest, pneumatic )
- Has worked with flange management procedures.
- Have good experience with mechanical installation such as rotating equipment (pumps, compressors),static equipment (tank, vessel ,skids, etc.)
- Equipment lifting experience

QUALIFICATIONS
- HND or home country equivalent:
- Minimum 5-7 years in Oil & Gas Project Construction and Execution
- Middle East experience and knowledge of Arabic culture preferable
- Experience in Brown and Greenfield construction projects
- Applicants MUST have a Basra residency card.
