Raya Foods; one of Raya's subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior Planning Specialist

What will you do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather up and analyze data on production capacity, material availability, customer demands and logistics team to develop accurate planning strategies and schedules.
- Develop and maintain a robust production schedule detailing all tasks and lead-times to meet predicted order completion date.
- Ensuring products are made efficiently with minimum delays and shortages and on the budget.
- Liaises with sales department to determine customer requirements/sales forecasts.
- Collate and process customer orders.
- Verify completion of the production plan by communication and assessment of yields, sales report and production information
- Prepare weekly forecast vs actual sales reports identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
- In conjunction with procurement team, develop and maintain supplier performance tracker identifying areas for improvement and highlight any reoccurring supply issues.
- Connect periodically and team up with commercial team launching new SKUs.
- Contribute to S&OP process by mapping out the capacity restrictions to create supply plan aligned with demand.
- Analyze and measure operational KPIs and results on periodical basis to such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and production cycle times.
- Support in tracking performance trends integrating multiple sources of data, and preparing business reviews and presentations.
- Identify barriers, bottlenecks, risks and root causes of issues and performance gaps and propose solutions to address them.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced planning systems to enhance planning accuracy and automate.
- Providing the necessary information as need arises to assist and support implementation of business objectives with relevant stake holders.

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.

- Understanding of supply chain principles and experience with related planning software

Education
Bachelor of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related discipline
