Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively closing deals. This role requires a strategic approach to identify potential clients, nurture leads, and convert them into successful sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
- Create and execute strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with all company departments to align sales strategies with business goals.

Lead and Manage Sales Team:
- Oversee the daily activities and performance of the sales team.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Set sales targets and monitor progress towards goals.

Negotiation and Deal Closing:
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and close deals.
- Address and resolve client objections and concerns.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are properly executed.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track sales metrics and report on performance to senior management.
- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and adjust strategies.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline status and deal progress.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments, according to company RACI matrix
- Ensure clear and effective communication within the sales team and across the organization.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the sales process and team performance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

People Management:
- Provides the Sales team with clear guidelines, insights, and knowledge of the client's profile and industry, to convert Target accounts into Managed accounts.
- Identify training needs for his team and assign them to corresponding courses.
- Evaluate the performance of his/her direct subordinates and reviews and approves the performance evaluations prepared by his subordinates for their team

Requirements:

Personal Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent sales and marketing skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of verbal and written English.

Technical Skills
- Excellent practical and accumulated experience in machinery sales.
- Industrial & Manufacturing Background
- MBA is a Plus

Education
B.Sc. of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical or Electrical.
