About the role
- Working together with Location Finance Managers to ensure proper governance and delivering Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Year reporting. Providing a strong support to the Finance Director and actively working towards ensuring overall APAC deliverables are receiving the right attention and support when required.
- Location governance - Ensure that for all Asia locations an active register of Statutory, Taxation and internal compliance requirements (ASK 4.2 etc) is maintained and used to track compliance with such requirements.
- Oversees, advocates and enforces the key policies and procedures (e.g. DOA and Revenue Recognition) across APAC.

Responsibilities will include:
- Work with locations to continue to identify areas to improve and drive best practice across all internal and external governance requirements.
- Provide training, development and leadership to key stakeholders on the process, procedures and tasks associated with the Group's policies and procedures.
- As required support Locations during internal/external audits, tax investigation and audits.
- Ensure Monthly, Half Yearly, Annual reporting and other Corporate deadlines are achieved
- Build, develop and empower direct reports, delegating appropriate authority levels to facilitate effective achievement of team and individual accountabilities.
- Complete, Accurate and timely completion of internal and external reporting requirements

Requirements:

About You
- A qualified accountant with a proven track record of success with more than 10 years of significant financial experience, most recently in a senior financial management role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to gain the confidence of senior management
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and internal and external compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.
- A high degree of organizational skills
- A track record of successfully managing teams and implementing change; ideally experienced in managing an international team.
- Experience working throughout Asia
