Event and Digital Communications Manager

Job description / Role

Events and Sponsoring
- Manage the execution of internal and external events and sponsoring activities related to your scope
- Act as a strategic business partner for Orange Wholesale teams
- Internally:
- Ensure that key messages and evidence are communicated effectively within the entity.
- Help implement the internal communications strategy to encourage employee engagement, particularly for employees based abroad.
- Ensure the flow of important information within the company, particularly for employees based abroad.
- Act as an advocate for internal communications operations, with particular emphasis on employees based abroad.
- Externally:
- Ensure both sales & marketing discussions to ease and organize events.
- Know how to negotiate and manage interaction with your suppliers.
- Define and implement, with the team, a yearly internal & external events plan for Orange Wholesale at global level and France

Public Relations
- Implement the Group's public relations plans to raise visibility of International Carriers.
- Organize promotional events and participate in conferences.
- Proactively manage communication during crises, implementing appropriate strategies.

Design

Propose and create physical or digital graphic media (for social networks, the web, pushmails, newsletters, articles...) in collaboration with the people in charge of content.
- Adapt proposals to the global Orange brand universe and wholesale specificities.
- Plan each stage of production according to deadlines, and report on the progress of each project to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure consistency between the content and form of each media and adjust the design until it has been approved by the person making the request.

Budget & Admin
- Monitor all purchase requisitions for the communications department, ensuring that administrative processes are followed efficiently.
- Prepare files to meet compliance and expenditure committee requirements.
- Drive budget & follow expenses through to actual payment to the supplier.

About you
- A solid experience in internal & external communications with a successful track-record
- Proven ability to lead communications and projects in complex, multicultural organizations.
- Work with stakeholders to make progress on different projects and be able to lead different simultaneous initiatives
- You have a good sense of contact and customer relations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen, sense of confidentiality & dynamism
- You are rigorous, organized, and meticulous when it comes to managing each of your projects.
- You know how to adapt to a constantly changing world.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- At ease with the main communication digital/ design tools
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Reactivity, adaptability and boldness
- French and English Bilingual (written and oral)
- Higher education in communications,
- Some international travel may be required
