About the role
Customer: (Project teams & Implementation Devops monitoring team L1/L2)
- Provide Level 3 assistance, support and advices to Implementation Devops monitoring team.
- Help project teams to deploy Monitoring stack (Prometheus & Exporters) in addition to Implementation Devops monitoring team Level 2 if necessary.
- Provide Guides and Training Sessions for all Business units globally on how to integrate Prometheus and monitoring tools inside their services.
- Implement customers configurations for routing (alerting) and federation (QoS) in relation with Implementation Devops monitoring team.
- Define Grafana dashboards for Service Level Management and report creation for top management.
- Be in close relationship with project teams and Implementation Devops monitoring team to get requirements and requests for a continuous improvement.
Operations and Engineering :
Monitoring platform
- Manage Monitoring platform created with containers and orchestrated with Docker Swarm.
- Manage Monitoring platform reliability (scalability, disaster recovery...).
- Manage Monitoring platform continuous enhancement and automation features.
- Define solution to monitor our monitoring solution (monitoring of monitoring).
- Manage and Improve the Quality of Service solution (computation, Grafana dashboards).
- Report anomalies and manage the proactive/corrective actions plan.
Monitoring stack
- Work in an agile mode with the technical architects and operational teams on the new requests.
- Test/deploy new exporters using Helm charts.
- Provide and enhance the Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
- Think and build automation features.
- Define rules, guidelines, best practices for project teams.
- Write documentation for all services used.
- Be in close relationship with the Operational and Engineering teams.

Educational Background :
- Computer Engineeringor a related field
Technical Experience :
- Docker/Docker swarm
- Kubernetes
- Helm charts
- Gitlab/Gitlab-CI pipelines
- Prometheus (promQL language)
- Prometheus exporters writing (Go, Python)
- Alertmanager
- Scripting (Bash, Powershell, Python)
- InfluxDB
- Kapacitor (Tick scripts)
- Grafana
- Portainer
- Traefik
- Knowledge in JavaScript NodeJS/TypeScript Node JS would be an advantage
- Knowledge in databases (Postgres, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB) and queries would be an advantage
- Proposals for improvement
- Very good understanding of project management and time management
- Very good technical reports writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive, self-motivated and determined attitude
- Strong customer facing
