Scope of position & reporting structure

Reporting to the Claims Risk Unit, the Claims Recovery officer will be responsible for the administration of claims recovery for subrogation, co-insurance and claims clawback opportunities. This is a key claims cost containment role, with a remit to maintain and execute best practice in the service delivery for our customers.

Key Responsibilities/ what you do

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Complete end to end administration of all claims recovery activities (subrogation, co-insurance, claims clawback).
- Liaise & Negotiate with Third Party Solicitors & Insurers to obtain a favourable outcome for Allianz Partners & our customers
- Maintain and update proper records of the company's recoveries and expected recoveries including, but not limited to, identified subrogation opportunities, actual recoveries, expected completion date etc
- Continuous improvement of end to end work flows from identification to claims recovery
- Provide Subrogation & Co-insurance claims training as required
- Collaborate with and provide support to other functions (such as Claims, Case Management, Life Accident & Disability Claims, Finance, Pricing, CRM Departments) on recovery opportunity identification & outcomes.
- Provide reports on all matters relating to recoveries to the Global Head of Claims and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Requirements/ what you bring

- Excellent level of written and verbal English is essential.
- Previous experience in Health Insurance claims adjudication
- 2nd European Language is an advantage
- Deep understanding the principals of insurance
- Proficiency in MS Office (in particular in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint)
