Construction Supervisor - Piping / Pipeline

Wood has upcoming new and exciting opportunities with our clients in Bahrain. We are currently looking for Expression of Interest applications for a Construction Supervisor - Piping / Pipeline to be based in Bahrain. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute to delivery of construction work packs, giving clear activity breakdown and detailed narratives for all construction activities.
- Contribute discipline experience to the ongoing development of project work methods, processes and team development.
- Carry out a constructability review of work packs, feeding back any issues to construction lead or relevant engineering discipline. This will include input at scope survey and engineering stage
- Deliver against agreed planned work scopes ensuring obligations are met by way of timely completion of work packs.
- Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution.
- Assisting with the delivery and timely execution of the project/contract/service and ensure the contract requirements are satisfied.
- Contribute to the development of project schedules

- Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Minimum 6 years in a similar role
- Reasonable level of practical, applied knowledge of construction methods and processes typically gained by a minimum of 2 years on the job experience in relevant industry sector
- Have a reasonable technical knowledge of construction discipline and associated process
- Ability to identify risk to delivery
- Ability to interpret discipline documentation
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS)
