Employment: Full Time

Client is a brilliant semi government entity based in the UAE who is seeking a Regional Social Media Manager to join their ever growing digital team. The prospective candidate must be a UAE national with prior experience working as a digital marketing professional. The position involves creating and implementing processes, benchmarks and best practices in order to provide an excellent content marketing strategy across a number of social media platforms for different functions within the entity.

The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Create, lead and develop the various social media platforms created for the region
- Manage a team of social media professionals and provide guidance, encourage teamwork as well as ensure the high performance standards are maintained
- Ensure team objectives are achieved by setting various targets by developing and motivating team members
- Build agency relationships and work closely with stakeholders including Corporate Communication, Marketing, IT, Digital, etc.
- Ensure new and existing social media strategies are created and tailored effectively to the internal client departments
- Develop and implement social media marketing campaigns, editorial strategy and recommendations to support objectives for particular countries and regions
- Work closely with each social media manager in the team to ensure that they have adopted appropriate the relevant content strategy to each assigned region
- Provide regular feedback to the executive-level for analysis and insight into social media performance in the region
- Present report to the senior management on the local KPIs in order to ensure contribution to growth of business
- Identify the channels to ensure the most effective marketing campaigns
- Create and manage programme attracting the region’s bloggers

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree qualification (or equivalent) in related field such as Marketing, Communications, etc
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Previously managed a team of at least 3 social media professionals
- Good understanding and network of regional bloggers
- Excellent written and communication skills in English
