Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of the worlds largest hotel chains. Working at group level, our client is looking to hire a Regional Financial Accountant to report to the Area Director of Finance. You will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual managing the full accounting function. You will be responsible for the set up and improvements of systems and policies, undertaking analysis to support and improve the regional hotel performances.
Responsibilities will include accounts payable and collections, payments, petty cash, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations. You will carry out the group reporting and consolidations of area hotel reporting. You will also be responsible for audit planning and management of audit reviews as well as report / action plan reviews and budgeting of area costs.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree or equivalent in accounting with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. It is essential you have worked within the hotel industry as you will have sole responsibility of the accounting / payroll function for the area office.
