Plant Operator

Job description / Role

Our company, Emirates Calcium Carbonate Factory LLC is looking for a highly talented Plant Operator to assure proper setup and monitor of all production lines equipment based on daily plan (duty is a rotation-based between day and night shift).

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up production lines in accordance with the production plan assigned by the production manager.
- Operates equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
- Inspect equipment to identify malfunction.
- Evaluate equipment performance.
- Recommend process improvements to supervisor to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Monitor parameter of all equipment and derive them from SCADA systems to fill in the daily log sheets.
- Checking and performing calibration of all scales.
- Interview will be in Kizad, Abu Dhabi, UAE (face-to-face is required)
- Any additional task that may be required.

Job Types: Contract, Permanent, Full-time
Salary: (as agreed)

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Plant Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical or mineral processing industry
- Knowledge of plant operations, production processes, and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the maintenance team and other stakeholders
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production requirements
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in plant operations, manufacturing, or a related field
