Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Statement of Responsibilities:
- Comply with Company Quality System and Procedures.
- Ensure that best practice is used at all times
- To provide visible leadership and lead by example around the site and in offices
- Maintain a strong team commitment within the project team and company to deliver the project to the Time, Cost, Quality and Safety (T, C, Q, and S) targets acting at all times in the best interests of the company.
- To value and develop staff and operatives ensuring they are properly inducted, briefed, trained and developed, and making the best use of shared resources across the project.
- To provide accurate and timely data to the project performance reports
- Represent the company to the client, subcontractors and the public in a professional and ethical manner and maintain the company image and reputation
- Maintain the company image in all facets of work and presentation and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, conducive to securing future work
- To comply with governance policies, procedures or processes

In so far as the Contract provides; be responsible for:
- Establishment of a first Order horizontal and vertical survey control networks from Master Survey Control provided by the Client under the Contract
- Production of an Initial Land Record Survey.
- Preparation of As-built Records.
- Maintenance of Deformation Monitoring Surveys.
- Survey Quality Plan.
- Survey Inspection Plan.
- Survey Method Statement.
- Survey Reports.

Job - Duties & Functions including Strategic Objectives:
- Overall responsibility for the supervision and performance of the Survey Teams.
- Plan, direct and co-ordinate the duties of the Survey teams and related staff.
- Ensure sufficient surveyors are available to meet programme requirements.
- Liaison with the Client, other relevant parties and our Staff both on site and in remote locations such as fabrication yards and obtain the information needed in order to instruct actions on site appropriately to ensure the works proceed without delay.
- Check and maintain the calibration of Survey Equipment.
- Make recommendations to the project team and directors regarding improvements to the company Quality Manual and training of employees in respect of the Land Surveying Function.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant Standards affecting Land Surveying Function.
- Promote a quality focused image and quality product to the clients

Requirements:

- Middle East Experience is essential
- 5-10 years of experience
- Civil Engineering degree or higher
