Forex and Crypto Dealer

Job description / Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced FX Dealer to join their trading team in Dubai. The FX Dealer will be responsible for executing foreign exchange transactions, managing currency exposures, and optimizing trading strategies to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FX markets, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for cryptocurrency trading.

Responsibilities:

• Execute foreign exchange trades across major currency pairs in alignment with trading strategies and risk management policies.
• Monitor FX market trends, news, and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Analyze market data, charts, and technical indicators to make informed trading decisions and optimize trading strategies.
• Manage currency exposures and hedge positions to minimize currency risk and maximize portfolio returns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement trading algorithms and automated trading systems.
• Monitor trading performance and analyze trade outcomes to identify areas for improvement and optimize trading strategies.
• Maintain accurate trading records and prepare regular reports on trading activity, performance metrics, and market analysis.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in FX and cryptocurrency markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 03 years of experience as an FX Dealer or Trader, preferably in a financial institution or brokerage firm.
• Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, currency trading mechanics, and trading strategies.
• Proficiency in technical analysis tools, trading platforms, and risk management techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data, charts, and economic indicators.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7 are a plus.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and trading platforms is desirable but not required.
