Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Monitor, check and supervise the daily operation of Production, Materials & Tooling functional areas to ensure EEMC Production is supported by Initial provisioning and re-provisioning of Engine/Modules spares, tools and services and review documents for conformance per regulatory requirement.

Job Outline:

- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Production support staffs to ensure daily and projected operations targets are achieved without compromise to safety and regulations.
- Communicate with maintenance customers in relation to execution and completion of Production support tasks. Attending daily production meetings to obtain feedback and attend to the queries raised by stakeholders in order achieve service level agreements and to identify potential improvement opportunities.
- Ensure team compliance to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM). Actively participate in the identification and development of SOP/special instructions to ensure compliance with the agreed policy/procedures of the business.
- Generate daily reports related to shift performance, task accomplishment and KPIs, investigate underlying reasons for any deviation and discuss with Section Controller/Manager for necessary corrective action and improvements.
- Create and promote a safe working environment for all staff ensuring direct reports have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to work safely in alignment with EEMC Safety policy, provide support and direction. Be a role model for the desired safety behaviours and always lead with safety. Ensure reporting any non-conformance in safety and quality immediately via company procedures.
- Conduct/administer staff training and contribute to creating development plans in line with agreed standards pertaining to job accountabilities.

Material Planning:
- To initiate planning action ensuring effective support of materials fulfilment for operations at agreed levels, thereby ensuring timely completion of maintenance inputs.
- To liaise with Vendors and their representatives, technical and non-technical, in the pursuit of optimising the provisional flow of incoming materials and fulfilment. Regular reviews of the inventory and supplier performance.
- To interpret component maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, engine work packs, technical notices, and associated engine/aircraft publications both technically and professionally for spares support.
- To ensure the long- and short-term planning requirements of materials in conjunction with the maintenance plans for High Time and Quick Turn engine inductions

Production Planning:
- Conferring with workshop supervisors to determine the progress of work and completion dates and populate actual start/finish dates in IFS against each pre-set gate activities. Raise official clock-stop in IFS with reason wherever deemed appropriate.
- Co-ordinate with Materials Planning & Marshalling on timely updates for shortages under PO, RO and WO to meet the preload kitting dates.
- Follow-up on issues raised during Daily Operations Meeting at all levels of production & ensuring closure with minimum impact on production schedule.

Warehouse & Logistics :
- Supervise supplied material accumulation against respective WIP engine material shop order to meet Engine demand fulfilment.
- Review shipped clean items repair review to establish final condition of item by reviewing in-house and vendor task performed in-line with Engine Manual requirement.
- Monitor and report part received from vendor with Departure record (DR) for traceability purposes.
- Monitor EEMC inventory for expired item and publish quarterly and monthly forecast.

Material Inspection:
- Issue Serviceable Part Label and certify the airworthiness of received tools and materials based on the
inspection performed.
- Initiate the stock discrepancy process to quarantine noncompliant spares/tools to further investigate and
take action.
- Administer the archiving process (Digital/Physical) of airworthiness certificates and other supporting
documents received with the tools and materials to ensure the storage, security and retrieval of archive data is efficient and effective.
- Monitor and record the air temperature and humidity of Engineering Warehouse & Logistics stock rooms to ensure they are in accordance with dept. standards.

Tooling Support:
- Supervise the control of tooling, including but not limited to engine maintenance tools, equipment, Snap on toolboxes required to manage the EEMC operations.
- Review and control of periodic tooling maintenance such as load test, Calibration, repair, and maintenance as per the approved engineering procedures
- End-to-end responsibility limiting the spending and associated costs for tooling maintenance with the highest repair performance.
- Supervise and control tooling internal work orders and external repair orders to meet EEMC business objectives but not limited to fault reports, In situ calibration and provide immediate service in case of equipment fault, emergency breakdown

Marshalling/Accumulation:
- Ensure technical kitting is performed correctly and the status updated on ERP dashboard/share drive. Information would include: the contents and status of each kit, where it is and if it has been shipped to its destination and tracking numbers.
- Perform and ensure kitting accuracies and readiness for engines and modules build per the original Engines configuration and highlight in case of discrepancy.
- Ensure parts are at the correct revision level and complying with Conformity and PMA part requirements. Communicate and follow up with internal shop such as Receiving, Production and In-house Repair to ensure readiness of materials to meet roll dates and to support operational requirements.
- Ensure proper certification paperwork is maintained with parts throughout kitting process.
- Ensure all materials are reviewed prior to roll to production in term of correct SB/AD/MOD status and correct PN and SN for installation and ensure all swapping parts and modules meet all swapping requirements and procedures including TSN/CSN, TSO/CSO, BTB and correct documentation available and as per customer approval.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
- Engineering Mechanical: 3+ Years

Education:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Knowledge/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 3 years.
- 3 years overall experience in Supply Chain and logistics, preferably in an Aviation/MRO environment in Materials, Tooling, production planning, warehouse and logistics operation.
- Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Engine Systems.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise the technical information for implementation in cost effective ways.
- Excellent drafting/report writing skills.
- Competent in office applications/systems, MRO operations, tooling control, warehouse/inventory/ERP systems, business reporting and aircraft/engineering maintenance data.
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations would be an added advantage.
