Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Delivery Manager to join our team. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Project Planning and Execution:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.

Team Coordination and Leadership:

- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, set clear goals, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure alignment on project objectives.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Communicate project updates, deliverables, and potential risks to clients and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Gather client requirements and feedback to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet high standards of quality and performance.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project outputs to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, taking proactive steps to minimize their impact.
- Maintain a risk register and ensure all risks are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team and across the organization.
- Gather feedback from clients, team members, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to improve future project delivery.

equirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project management, delivery management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
