Synopsis

The Copywriter Manager plays a pivotal role within our in-house Creative Production agency, responsible for leading, managing, and guiding the copywriting team to deliver compelling and persuasive written content that enhances the airline's brand identity and storytelling efforts across various marketing channels. As a strategic leader, this role oversees the development of impactful copy concepts, messaging strategies, and storytelling approaches, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing goals. This role is also responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive written content tailored specifically for marketing initiatives related to Etihad Airways.

Accountabilities

- Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts for written content, fostering a collaborative environment that supports creativity and strategic thinking.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing teams, product managers, and senior leadership, to understand project requirements and objectives, and develop tailored copy solutions that effectively communicate key messages and brand values.
- Oversee the creation of copy for various marketing channels, including advertisements, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all deliverables.
- Manage the copywriting process from concept to completion, including task assignment, editing, and proofreading, to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster their growth and success within the copywriting team
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or related field, with a proven track record of leading successful copywriting projects and teams.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or relevant field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence in copywriting, with a focus on storytelling, persuasion, and brand voice.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire audiences.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of airline industry is advantageous
