Quality Management Director

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of Quality, Methodology and Innovation business plans in line with {00}strategy
• Develop the operational plan for Quality Management in line with the Quality, Methodology and Innovation business plan and Statistics strategic plan
• Implement plans and provide input to Quality Management goals that support overall strategic plans
• Provide input to identify Quality Management required projects to meet future demands
• Support in identifying and evaluating risks and provide input on the mitigation plans developed
• Lead conferences and / or workshops with external stakeholders to enable and optimize the development and update of quality standards
• Guide the development and update of quality management framework to manage the quality of statistical sources, processes, and products in line with {00} overarching strategy and objectives
• Guide the development and update of quality criteria, principles, and indicators for institutional, process, and output quality in line with {00} aspirations
• Ensure alignment of all concerned functions on quality standards and requirements to enable and optimize high-quality statistical processes and outputs
• Manage and approve the development of quality assurance framework to control and ensure compliance of statistical sources, processes, and products quality
• Ensure proper quality assurance plan is in place in line with quality assurance framework to monitor all aspects of statistical work against pre-set quality standards
• Evaluate consolidated quality assessment reports to ensure compliance of {00} statistical work with pre-defined quality standards and requirements, and ensure proper action plans are in place as and when needed
• Ensure effective quality loop (i.e., plan, run, evaluate, improve) at {00} to enable continuous improvements and organizational learning and recommend best course of action as needed
• Oversee feedback analyzes and recommend quality improvements best course of action to be discussed with concerned stakeholders at {00}

Requirements

Job Qualifications and Requirements
• 9+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance field
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or equivalent is required
• Master's degree in Data Science or equivalent is preferred
