Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the country's HR Department. They will be responsible for developing, implementing and standardizing cost-effective HR processes, systems and metrics and to oversee HR operations and services in the assigned country in line with the Group's strategy.

- Manage HR operations in the assigned country by performing a wide range of human resource functions.

- Implement strategies to achieve targets set by the Head of International HR.

- Manage and Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the assigned country

- Manage all HR related transactions in the assigned country and ensure they attended to in a timely manner.

- Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with the all other related departments and units to achieve the Group's goals/ objectives.

- Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the compliance function as and when required.

- Coordinate country staffing and recruiting activities including coordination of internal and external advertising in conjunction with the IHR team and Group Sourcing, HCD.

- Provide information towards salary benchmarking exercises in line with the country's practices and provide information to Compensation & Benefits on salary packages and market information.

- Oversee the counseling and performance management and provide support and guidance to employees, facilitate employee counseling sessions, and provide advice related to grievance and disciplinary procedures.

- Facilitate the performance management process, coach managers on conducting performance reviews, and coach employees on the performance management system and process.

- Oversee the accomplishment of activities relating to employment relations and legislation in the assigned country by serving as the first point of contact for employee questions and grievances.

- Update the management on local employment legislation, compliance requirements and changes impacting the workforce.

Take on other ad hoc projects and tasks relating to the assigned country, as and when required.

Requirements:

- University graduate with a degree specializing in Human Resources. A masters is preferred

- Minimum 4-6 years' experience in human resources preferably with a local bank entailing responsibilities for HR operations.

- You should possess superior knowledge of the applicable country employment legislations, compliance requirements and potential changes that would impact the workforce for the assigned office.

- You should possess knowledge in the local recruitment market and knowledgeable in matters of race relations, disability, gender, age, religion and multicultural issues.
